The DeFehr Memorial Fund seeks to encourage and support professional medical education and procedural training by the nurses and allied medical staff in Bartlesville. The ultimate goal of the fund is to improve quality of available medical services, adaptation of new technologies and access to medical research in the community. The funds will be available for participation in medical conference and training workshops. The maximum amount of up to $1,500 may be requested. The actual awards will be made to individuals based on the funds availability. There are no geographic, venue or thematic restrictions on the applications and all requests are considered based on their merit.

Awards will be made at least annually in December. If no awards are made in December, another review of applications will be held in June/July to accommodate rolling schedules of conferences and trainings.

Applicants should be individual medical professionals, not organizations. Thank you.

Questions and request for details are welcome. Contact the BCF at 918.337.2287.

PRO TIP: Go through the application and copy all requested information onto a word document. Answer all questions in that word document so you can save your work as you go.
