Grant and Scholarship Applications Now Open

Bartlesville Community Foundation has officially opened their spring 2018 grant cycle. This season, four unique grant opportunities are available for local 501(c)3 organizations: Collaborative Grant, Flash Philanthropy, Fund for Bartlesville, and Service League Grant. All applications opened February 1st and will close March 2nd at 5pm.

Each of the four grants offered during this cycle have specific requirements and focus areas. Flash Philanthropy encourages donors to immerse themselves in the charitable giving process. With a pledge of at least $500, donors have the opportunity to join their peers to review grant applications submitted by area organizations and make funding decisions. It’s a great way to become personally involved with local charitable giving. To answer questions and help donors learn more about Flash Philanthropy, the BCF is hosting coffee from 8:30-10 a.m. at Painted Horse on February 6th, 7th, and 13th. Stop by to learn more or call the BCF to participate individually or with a small group.

While the Fund for Bartlesville grant seeks applicants with innovative proposals that address community needs, the Service League Grant supports organizations serving the youth in Washington County. Both the Fund for Bartlesville and Service League Grants have maximum funding requests, so be sure to read the posted requirements carefully before submitting your organization’s proposal.

The fourth and final grant opportunity this spring is BCF’s first ever Collaboration Grant. This grant is designed to encourage area nonprofits to consider ways they can work together, share resources, and serve more. To be eligible, no less than two but no more than three primary organizations must apply together.  With this new grant, the Foundation hopes to spark creativity and partnerships within community nonprofits that continues beyond this grant cycle.

Grant applications for all four opportunities are available on the BCF website from February 1st to March 2nd. To review and apply for any of the spring BCF grants, visit the BCF website at bartlesvillecf.org. If you have any questions please contact Laura Jensen at 918.337.2287.
