Zona B. McCracken and Irene McCracken Arnold Memorial Scholarship applications may be found by visiting the Nowata High School Counselor’s office. These scholarships are available for students graduating from Nowata High School.

Award: 

Up to $5,000 payable as $1,000 per semester for the first two semesters and $1,000 per school year for the next three years as long as 2.5 or higher college GPA is maintained.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Nowata High School graduating senior
• 3.0 or higher high school GPA on the four-point scale
• Service to school will be defined as involvement in school activities, such as clubs, service organizations, school government, pep squad, etc.
• Attending university, college, junior college, trade, or vocational school

Required Addendum: 

• 200 or less word essay about why you feel you deserve this award
• Official Transcript
• FAFSA full application

These scholarships and all required addendums must be submitted to the Nowata High School Counselor’s office prior to the scholarship deadline.
