Three funds administered by the Bartlesville Community Foundation are now accepting grant applications.

The Fund for Bartlesville seeks to support the charitable work of community nonprofits and to recognize excellence in addressing community needs. This grant looks for applicants with the most innovative proposals in the areas of programs, new initiatives, or capacity building. Organizations may request up to $2,500 in their proposals.

The Service League has chosen to continue its legacy of supporting Washington County youth through their Service League Fund. Any 501(c)3 offering programs and services for youth in Washington County may apply to the Service League Fund for a maximum of $5,000 in the following areas: operating support, programming, new initiatives, training.

Flash Philanthropy, a special grant program of the Bartlesville Community Foundation, is also requesting grant proposals. A group of mostly young professionals pledged at least $500 to create a grant pool of $5,000 to help support a Bartlesville non-profit. Any 501(c)3 is eligible to apply. The top three applicants, as chosen by the donors, will be asked to make a presentation to the entire Flash Philanthropy group to determine how the grant will be awarded.  A nonprofit may request up to $5,000 in their application. When reviewing applications for grants for the Flash Philanthropy program, the committee will consider grants for Program Support, Seed Money, or Capacity Building. The committee will also consider if the program, project, or capacity for which funding is requested is sustainable. They will pay particular attention to how the grant request employs a creative and unique approach to providing service to the Bartlesville community.

All applications can be found at bartlesvillecf.org/grants-overview/ and must be submitted online by 5 pm on Wednesday, March 1st. Please contact Mirelle Onukwube at 918-337-2287 with any questions or requests for details.
