The Bartlesville Community Foundation kicked off its new Flash Philanthropy program August 20th with a reception at the Kress Loft. The program, which seeks to engage younger donors 21-40, will be launching its first grant cycle this fall. Those participating in the program will have the opportunity to pool their donations with other members of the group, review grant applications, and then award the money to the highest ranked project.
“We can’t wait to see Flash Philanthropy in action,” says Shawn Crawford, Executive Director of the BCF. “We had a tremendous crowd at the reception and several people commented they are excited to be part of the first group to invest in the community in this unique way.”
The Foundation will be accepting pledges for the program through the end of August. Learn more about how to become part of Flash Philanthropy.
