Fall Educational Offerings Provided By Bartlesville Community Foundation

Bartlesville Community Foundation (BCF) prides itself in being a resource to area nonprofits, donors and professionals as they work together to achieve their charitable goals. In order to aid in the success of individuals and organizations in the community, the BCF hosts and co-hosts educational workshops. This fall, the Foundation has joined forces with the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits to provide two workshops, Making the Ask and Program Evaluation and Measuring Impact.

Making the Ask will encourage attendees to explore and develop new methods for approaching donors. To accomplish this goal, the training will include case studies, examples, and role-playing scenarios to build the confidence of nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers as they ask for gifts. This opportunity is perfect for anyone in your organization charged with the task of raising money. Making the Ask will be held on September 21st in the Truity Credit Union basement meeting room from 10am – 1pm. Admission for this workshop is $5.

Program Evaluation and Measuring Impact will expose attendees to best practices for measuring the true impact of your organization through methods of program evaluation. Learn how to capture “the why” of your organization, how to utilize logic models, learn the basics of qualitative data gathering, and how to communicate this impact to those both inside and outside of the organization. Program Evaluation and Measuring Impact will be held on November 2, 2017 in the Truity Credit Union basement meeting room from 10am-1pm. Admission for this workshop is $5.

The Bartlesville Community Foundation is committed to providing affordable educational resources to local non-profits. Admission for each three hour course is only $5.00.
