Tell Your Story Grant – APPLICATION FORM

The Bartlesville Community Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the Tell Your Story Grant, a unique opportunity designed to empower local nonprofits by amplifying their voices and enhancing their impact in our community. This $20,000 grant is structured to provide comprehensive support to one selected nonprofit, enabling it to strengthen its financial foundation, enhance its operational capacity, and effectively share its mission and achievements with a broader audience.

Grant Designation Breakdown:

  • Endowment Support ($10,000): $10,000 of the grant will be directed towards the nonprofit’s endowment to be permanently restricted, providing a long-term investment that ensures financial stability and sustainability for future endeavors. If no endowment exists, this portion of the grant would be used to start an endowment fund for the organization at the BCF.
  • Operational Funding ($5,000): $5,000 will be allocated to support the nonprofit’s day-to-day operations, helping to maintain and expand essential programs and services.
  • Promotional Video Production and Social Media Clips ($5,000): The remaining $5,000 will be used to produce a 2-4 minute video and 2-4 clips for social media to tell the organization’s story and promote endowment giving. This material will serve as powerful storytelling tools, enabling the nonprofit to effectively communicate its mission, impact and the value of endowment giving to donors, volunteers, and the community at large. The Foundation team will work with the organization to coordinate this video’s production with BitBrilliant. This will be paid directly to BitBrilliant.

Purpose:

The Tell Your Story Grant is more than just financial assistance; it’s a comprehensive support package aimed at fostering long-term growth and visibility. By investing in endowment, operations, and storytelling, the Bartlesville Community Foundation seeks to empower nonprofits to build a sustainable future, enhance their operational efficiency, and connect with the community in meaningful ways.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Tell Your Story Grant, the nonprofit must be a registered Oklahoma 501c(3) and in good standing with the IRS, registered as a Solicitor with the Oklahoma Secretary of State (unless exempt), and providing services in the Bartlesville community. Organizations should demonstrate a clear strategy for endowment growth, for operational support, and for telling your organization’s compelling story in a way that can be effectively captured and shared through video.

Application Process:

Interested nonprofits are encouraged to submit an application detailing their mission, current needs, and how the grant will help them achieve their goals. A selection committee will review applications and choose one nonprofit that exemplifies dedication to making a positive impact in the Bartlesville community.

Award Process: The nonprofit selected to receive this novel grant will be announced at the Foundation’s Celebrate Together Luncheon on Tuesday, September 16th at the Bartlesville Community Center. This event will be held from 12-1:30 p.m., and each applying organization will receive two complimentary tickets.
