Overall Impression:

Does the organization seem to have a clear mission and strategy? Do programs seem well conceived and appropriate? Does the organization seem prepared to carry out the grant request?

Grant Request:

Will the grant request help to move the mission of the organization forward? Is the request well narrated and clear in its intentions? Does the request appear to be the result of a thoughtful process to address a clear need or desired outcome?

Budget:

Does the applicant provide adequate details, explaining the costs of the program or project they are proposing? Does the budget seem reasonable based on information provided?

Outcomes:

Do the outcomes seem feasible and achievable? Will outcomes have an impact on the organization and its overall mission? Will the outcomes enhance the community and the individuals being served? Are the measurements for the outcomes well-conceived and applicable to the project? Do the outcomes seem proportional to the grant request and overall cost?

Sustainability:

Is the grant request for a one-time need or a recurring program? If one-time, does the organization express how this grant will impact the organization’s sustainability? If funding is being requested for a recurring program, does the organization address how future years will be managed?
