Established in 2022, the KB Berry-Bucky Buck Memorial Scholarship Fund offers two scholarships per year – to a male and a female student-athlete – in memory of two beloved and accomplished Nowata High School Class of 1964 student-athletes.

Award Details:

Up to $2,000 total, payable as $1,000 for the first year, $500 in the second year, and $250 in the third and fourth years. After the initial payment, all subsequent scholarship payments are made after verification of the student meeting the award renewal requirements. These requirements include verification of enrollment and maintaining a 2.5 GPA or higher. These requirements are verified by an official transcript from the student’s school.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Nowata High School graduating senior
• 3.0 or higher GPA on the 4.0 scale
• Participation on any Nowata athletic team or in a recognized individual sport
• Attending university, college, junior college, trade school, or technical school
• Well-written essay, describing career goal, major, and how the award will help you
