For more than 50 years, Service League provided teens with a safe place to gather at the Youth Canteen, awarded scholarships to area students and supported the youth of Washington County. The Service League operated the Bargain Box Annex and held the Kitchens & More Tour to support their charitable work.

The Service League continues its legacy of supporting Washington County youth through their Service League Scholarships, providing educational support to Washington County students.

Amount Available:

Up to $5,000 payable as 50 percent per semester for the first year as long as a 2.5 or higher college GPA is maintained. Students may reapply for scholarship in the general applicant pool each year.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must be a senior attending a Washington County high school or a resident of Washington County. Applicants will be judged on scholastic achievement, financial need, service to school, service to the community, and work ethic. The applicant must have achieved a 2.5 or higher GPA based on the four-point scale during their high school career.
