Greg Mueggenborg Memorial Scholarship

Greg Mueggenborg Memorial Scholarship

Greg Mueggenborg

Greg Mueggenborg was born and raised in Bartlesville, OK.  He attended Bartlesville Public Schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating in 1998.  He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Management Information Systems, then graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law. He passed the bar exam on the first attempt and was employed as an attorney at the law firm, Perrine & Redemann, in Tulsa.

Greg loved OU, where he met his wife, Shannon, and became a loyal member of Sigma Chi, serving as Vice-President and on many committees.  He especially enjoyed serving as Head Social Chair.  His Sigma Chi brothers were his best friends.  As his cancer became more aggressive, his brothers banded together to make his life as good as possible.  They mowed his yard, took him to work, helped with his newborn twins, and held fundraisers to help with his mounting medical bills.  He loved each and every “Sig” as a brother.  He also loved being an attorney.  He would be proud to know that this scholarship will help some of his fraternity brothers achieve their goals.

This $2,500 scholarship is established in Greg’s memory for active members of Sigma Chi who are attending OU.
